The image below shows the main NetPod OPC Configuration Window. All of the features of the NetPod OPC server are configured from here.

All of the inputs from each identified instrument can be examined and a Windows slider bar is provided to select the inputs to reviewed. The display does not update in real-time for the fast sample rates but follows truthfully to data items to 2 Hz. All the Keynes Controls hardware is supported and instruments operating at different sample rates can be used.

Uncertain After Time Period - milli-seconds

Defines the time period im milli-seconds into which a new sample should be received specified and is specified in milli-seconds. Should the time period for receiving the new data exceed be within this limit then the data quality indicator will display “Good”.

Bad After Time Period - milli-seconds

Defines the time period in milli-seconds used to identify bad quality data. Should any data be received after the defined time period then it is identified as “bad” in the OPC server.

The data quality identifier can be used by third party applications software.

The data parameters are manually set by the User and should reflect the sample rate of the instruments. Configuring these parameters incorrectly can effect the overall results.

Sample Rate 1 Hz = 1000 mS
10 Hz = 100 mS
100 Hz = 10 mS
