Registry Set-up Options

The NetPod 4000 is supplied with a standard Windows driver called Podmng (Pod Manager). The driver is also used as a standard
interface to any third party applications such as NI Labview, Dasylab, Maple etc. The Podmng software is used primarily to set-up
the instruments and as an initial data analysis and network diagnostic tool.

Depending upon the Firmware fitted to the NetPod 4000 DSP card full network data acquisition synchronisation can be achieved.
The Podmng software automatically compensates for delays caused by the network connections.

Multiple instruments and Users are supported as standard. Simply load the software and run. All instruments connected to a local
area network will be identified. Any instrument configuration changes will be passed to all Users simultaneously without the need
to update configuration files.

Driver Software Downloads

The driver software consists of 2 files NetPod.dll and Podmng.exe. The file NetPod.dll has to be stored into the Windows System
Directory. The file Podmng.exe has to be stored into the main Windows directory. A list of directories required for the different
operating systems is shown below:
